From the Community: My Bicycle

We have reached out to our community asking "What does your bicycle mean to you?," and we had received plenty of stories that touched our hearts. So much so that we have decided to share some of them on our blog.

Without further ado, here is what Thomas had to say:

If I was to answer this two years ago, I would have said: a broken ankle, some fractured ribs and a LOT of stitches.

Despite all this, my bike makes me feel content when things are up and down. It provides me with the time and space to think when my work has given me too much in my mind to deal with.

It brings me peace when I need it and allows me to be part of the 'family' that all cyclists belong to.

My bicycle keeps me humble. At the end of the day it is only my own effort and will power that get me up the hill...or not! It's experiences like these that allow me to push to the extremes off-road.

I would be lost without my bike. I deal with the other 'life stuff' because of it.
